I'm posting this a little late (halfway through the auction) but I wanted to post about it anyways.
I've been cleaning out closets trying to make more space for all the "stuff" we continue to accumulate for our triplets. I cannot wait until they stop using some things so I can pass them along :)
Anyways, in my attempt to make more room, I noticed I had more hats & scarves on hand than I thought I did, so I decided to auction it off at significantly reduced prices.
We have been wanting to do something to show our appreciation to the doctors & nurses that took care of our boys for 6 weeks in the NICU. Our time is limited with taking care of three 7 month month olds, so volunteering, as much as we would like to, is just not possible right now.
I've decided to take the proceeds from the auction and buy some really nice baby yarn and make hats and blankets for the NICU. I had already committed to making hats for "Big Bikers Children's Foundation" in South FL for their donation towards our boys helmets, so I will also be getting more yarn to make hats for older children that are in the hospital too.
